We had two big rebound days from the Preds loss with wins in NHL on Saturday and a big 10u win on the Packers/Bears over yesterday.
We have some good matchups tonight on the ice- I may have some plays for the Texans tonight but that will come later.
The Flyers/Avs game is my favorite on the board. Both teams have their lower tier goalies in. I think Justus Annunen sucks. He’s given up three or more goals in four consecutive games after his above par start to the season. The Flyers are the concern offensively and they may look Annunen better than he is but what we are looking for here is a minimum of two goals. I expect at worst this to be a 4-2 win for the Avs but I will splash the 6 and 7 totals in this game as well. Aleksei Kolosov will be in net for the FLyers and this is who and what we are targeting. The Avs get Val Nichushkin back this year and as much of a problem he has been for them off the ice, he is a top tier player in this lineup and the Avs will benefit from having him back. He was a -3 against the Capitals and needs some time to get back into the fold, but this is a matchup that will help him take a step forward. Coming off a 5-2 loss to the Capitals should also ignite this offense to embarrass the Flyers. Our eyes will be on Travis Konecny for the Flyers. The Flyers top line can be explosive and could stun the Avs so I do think both teams will contribute enough to this game to make it explosive.
For the rest of the slate, I would love to get all over Dallas here but the lines are too high. I don’t play totals of 4 and the -1.5 spread is -175. This is a game to watch live and see if we can find some value if Anaheim scores first.
I want some action on Boston tonight so I am gonna lay -190 to get the total of 3. Laugh at the juice all you want, here’s where my head is at and will always be at….
Playing for even lines or + money lines is for the birds who want to tell you to play 1% of your bankroll and find CLV. If that’s what you want to play then you know where to go. If you want someone who sees the games and reads the games and wants an 80% edge on a matchup, I’m the person who will pay for what he feels is an 80% or better chance of winning. I want to win, no matter the cost. And I want to pay up to save the chance of getting the push. I’d rather risk 3.8 to win 2 units knowing I can push on a total of 3 in a game I full expect the Bruins to control and win. If you need to save the 1.4 unit to sacrifice your chances to push to play the team total of 3.5 at -125 then you do what you gotta do- sign up at places that put out 100 plays a day regardless of the juice or wins/losses, sign up at the places that put out 1 play a day if the books aren’t “on market.” Here, we play to fucking win and we play to win because we know what we’re doing.
