Ottawa vs. Toronto:
Ottawa may force a game six tonight, but I expect Toronto to score regardless of the outcome. This is an elimination game, so following the third period will be key. If Ottawa is trailing in the third, I would expect an earlier pull down one, an even earlier pull down two, and if they are down three or more, you should expect a goalie pull with 7-9 minutes left in the game. All those signs point to a high scoring Toronto ending. Do not stress or panic if this is a slow game through the first two periods. As long as Toronto has two goals heading into the 10 minute mark of the third period we are in good shape.
Devils vs. Hurricanes:
This is another elimination game that I won’t be playing pregame. We have the Carolina -1.5 series play with two chances to hit it. This is a game to screen and wait until the third period for a similar situation mentioned above.
Minnesota vs. Vegas:
Game four was incredible. Tonight should be tighter. I expect Vegas to take this one giving them a 3-2 series lead that Minnesota could bring back to Vegas for a game 7. I don’t like the lines on this game so feel free to splash a little on Minnesota for some value. No play for me here.
