MNH Kollecting

Monday 3/10 Breakdown

Edmonton has won 3 of 4 after losing five in a row. They’re dealing with some injuries on the back end with Mattias Ekholm out and John Klingberg out again after making his season debut in February. I don’t love the cost of lines tonight to be on them but I do believe they win. If there is an opportunity to grab 2.5 live- unlikely- you can jump on it, otherwise look for an empty net situation with a few minutes left in the game.

Colorado’s costs are in the same boat with their team total being juiced on 4. This is a game you can look to hit live if 3.5 drops to a reasonable price. If Colorado stays healthy they should continue to roll offensively. Brock Nelson may be the more underrated moves at the trade deadline and his points props should be affordable if you want to play them. MacKenzie Blackwood still isn’t good in my opinion so I don’t anticipate him taking the Avs anywhere deep in the playoffs, but they should be cash cows until then. Artyom Levshunov, the second overall pick in last years draft, will make his season debut tonight so he’s worth keeping an eye on.

Toronto’s lines don’t add up. They are gaining all the attention but they are only -115. There has been a lot of negative talks around the team since the deadline especially with reports leaking that they tried to flip Mitch Marner for Mikko Rantanen. Marner refused to waive his trade clause and will be a UFA demanding as much as Rantanen. They’ve lost three in a row, to three Western teams, and have a third in a row on the road. I’m going to bite the bullet here and jump on them because this is the game they need to win and blow out to get their momentum back before heading home to face Florida on Thursday.
