This will be the first NBA article of the season. NBA betting is something I used to do a lot of when I had my working data sheets. The person who used to build them for me is no longer reachable so I have not partaken in it much over the past few years until the playoffs. Screening the plays over the past week has been profitable, so I will begin putting my plays out. If anyone here knows how to code and can help me revive my old spreadsheets it could really help us gain an edge. My NBA betting is a lot different than NFL and NHL. NBA is strictly data and numbers driven with previous trends. If you don’t like that style then take a back seat for a few days to see the quality and outcome of plays. NBA won’t be an every night thing unless something stands out. We will start small with some 1-5 unit plays. If you have any questions please feel free to leave a comment.
I’m starting in Atlanta tonight. They took a bad loss to the Knicks on Monday completely blowing the second half of the game. Every time they got back on track they would commit turnover after turnover for a total of 25 on the day. Trae Young, a usual Knick killer, committed 9 of them himself. The Hawks are 11-7 at home on the year and won seven in a row against the Pistons before losing their last matchup on the round 122-121. The spread is low enough to get Atlanta on the money line here so I would like to get some of those units back.
Brooklyn is atrocious. They are 1-9 in their last 10 and lost four in a row. They had the lead with 2 minutes left against the Knicks last night and blew it. They are 5-13 at home and are 11.5 point underdogs to the .500 Suns. Since joining the Suns, Kevin Durant is averaging 30 points against his former team. Phoenix is coming off an embarrassing loss to the Cavs losing by 26 on Monday. Phoenix should score tonight and Durant should excel.
