Hey everyone,
Slow day yesterday, was disappointing not getting Florida’s final goal to cash the 3.5. The pretty much swung the night from being positive to a little down. We only have two games on the slate and one will be a rematch of our 5u play the other night. I told you last matchup that Columbus was the dog of the day I liked, we played their total of four, and we smashed the game over of 5.5. What I will be doing here is expecting the Rangers to rebound. I do not see COlumbus coming into the Garden and winning again. The question for me is whether or not the Rangers easily hit the team total or not so I will slow play this one a little. I think the Rangers win without question. I am going to play the Rangers on the team total of 3.5 for two units and splash their -1.5 line for one unit. The Rangers should dominate here, and I expect a much better performance with Igor in net. We attacked the game over so big last time because Jonathan Quick started for the Rangers on the road and I liked him to get lit up. How that game had 0 goals in the third period still boggles my mind but we move on. I expect a low scoring output from Columbus today so while I like the Rangers to get to four goals on the night, I don’t want to go backwards momentum wise with a very favorable slate tomorrow.Â
The next game will be a similar expectation to us going back to the Oilers against the Kings. Except, I am going play this game on both sides. With Stuart Skinner in net, and the way the Oilers have struggled defensively, I expect the Blues to get on the board at least two to three times tonight. You can lay a little juice to get 5.5 at -175, which I think makes sense. To play 6 instead of 5.5, you need to risk an extra half unit to need one less goal. I think it is worth it. I want to attack Jordan Binnington here and I expect Edmonton to win this game and put up four so I am playing Edmonton’s team total of 3.5 as well.Â
March Madness is starting soon and I will have some stuff going on for that. I really enjoyed the box pool from last season and would like to run it again. For anyone who doesn’t know how it works, it works the same way as the Super Bowl squares. You get numbers for the home team and away team and those are your numbers for the WHOLE tournament. For this tournament, each game will have a final score that gets paid out. If you have Home 5- Away 6, and one game ends 65-56 and the other game ends 75-76, you win BOTH games. There are no limits on how many times you can win as long as your numbers are the final score numbers (overtime is included). There will be 100 boxes and each box is 100. If you are interested, you can send for as many boxes as you’d like to gameflowsllc@gmail.com on zelle or julian-aguirre-4 on venmo (please put food/drinks in memo). There was a google spreadsheet sent out. You can request your specific numbers in there and I will have it filled and posted for the tournament. It was a lot of fun last year and I expect it to be a loto f fun this year.Â
I will have tomorrow’s article out mid afternoon. Good Luck Tonight!
