Ghost’s Saturday Wild-Card Plays

As much as I love the Texans, I don’t believe we see the wild card magic we saw last year against the Browns. CJ Stroud Is in the midst of his sophomore slump and has not looked great this year. The good thing here is he’s looked good enough over the course of the year to get the Texans to where I want them to be on the scoreboard. Stroud is without Diggs and Dell leaving Nico Collins alone as the top target against a defense that’s given up the least amount of points in the league thus year. Jim Harbaugh has turned this Chargers team around and has helped Justin Herbert look like the QB they thought they were getting. Ladd McConkey is an absolute stud right now and the offense has plenty of supporting weapons all around. This total is way too low in my opinion especially on the Chargers side. I expect the Texans to get us 13-17 points themselves still having the ability to drive the ball and score if Stroud can find his accuracy, and I expect the Chargers to outpace them and cover. A 41.5 game total is way too low for two offenses averaging over er 22 points per game. The weather should be a non factor here so expect the Chargers to cash their total and win the game in a 24-17 /24-23  type game.

  • 4:30 p. Chargers team total over 20.5 -135: 10u
